Since I started growing from seed now 4 years I have had quite a few seed killings
Do not be fooled by pictures . Many a days I just had my hands in my hair not knowing what i did wrong .
Here is a few of the lessons I have learned .
1 Soil
Buy organic seed starting mix .They are a bit more expensive but your seeds will definitley grow better without chemicals in your soil.
2 Watering
Be carefull not to overwater your seeds.I have the tendency to drown my seedlings.
Soil must stay moist not soggy.A fine line and comes with practice.
3 Light
I use normal LED lights to grow inside .Not expensive grow lights .Your seed tray must by close to the light about 3 cm
4 Heat
Some seeds do not require heat to germinate just room temperature.Other seeds need heat mats to germinate but be sure to take them off heatmats as soon as they have germinated .
Main thing ! Never give up .Keep on trying and you will reap what you sow.
Have a wonderfull day dreaming about your flowers .
Greetings
Mariette
