Planting Tip | Direct seed or plant in germination trays. I have found direct seeding is the most succesfull. Keep wet till germinated. |
Pinch | When plants are about  20cm - 30 cm tall, take sharp pruners or your fingers and snip the top off just above where two leaves should emerge. I always say look for a V shape, then cut above that V. |

Harvesting Tips | To tell whether a zinnia is ready to harvest, use the “wiggle test.” Cut low into your Zenia above the V for it to produce long stems. You will sacrifice some buds but the more you cut the more it blooms. |
