Sowing Time Zinnias are warm-weather flowers that should be planted after the last frost date in your area. This is typically in late spring.
Days To Germination 7 days
Planting Space 15cm
Planting Tip Direct seed or plant in germination trays. I have found direct seeding is the most succesfull. Keep wet till germinated.
Pinch When plants are about  20cm - 30 cm tall, take sharp pruners or your fingers and snip the top off just above where two leaves should emerge. I always say look for a V shape the cut above that V.
Seeds Per Packet 30
Uses Excellent cut flowers. The more you cut the more blooms you get.
Netting In my opinion - nets are needed for straight stems.
Harvesting Tips To tell whether a zinnia is ready to harvest, use the “wiggle test.” Cut low into your Zenia above the V for it to produce long stems. You will sacrifice some buds but the more you cut the more it blooms.
Germination Easy
